Established in 2019, Azupay is an Australian fintech focused on payment solutions using the New Payments Platform (NPP) technology.

Starting from our systems integrator heritage and close relationships with our clients, we have evolved to become a customer-centric product company.

Andrew is one of the founders of Azupay and has over 20 years' experience in technology across a number of industries including finance, insurance and public sector in both Australia and the UK. His specialisation in payments began 10 years ago at IAG and continued as the implementation lead on the NSW Government’s central payments platform and as Programme Architect on Cuscal’s implementation of the New Payments Platform. He now heads up the technology and product delivery teams at Azupay.

Tom Rundle

Tom Rundle has a successful and strong track record with more than 10 years experience scaling payments businesses globally.

Tom Rundle has a successful and strong track record with more than 10 years experience scaling payments businesses globally. His payments scale-up experience has been gained with the likes of BizPay, Flywire and OFX. Tom has also held enterprise strategy roles with the likes of Macquarie Group and PA Consulting. Tom’s achievements include launching OFX into North America, optimising payment experiences for clients around the world and creating Flywire's new commercial team across APAC. Tom is passionate about leading great teams to develop great products.

Vesna Crnjak

Vesna has more than 20 years' experience in finance and accounting, covering funds management, technology, mining and property industries.

Vesna has over 20 years' experience in finance and accounting, covering funds management, technology, mining and property industries.

Her experience includes all aspects of statutory financial and cashflow reporting, IPOs, budget forecasts, implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, and accounting software implementation.

Vesna holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, initially qualifying with PwC in their audit division.

Michael Williams

Michael brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role. Since April 2024, he has enhanced and up lifted the company's risk and governance framework, managed the Financial Crime team, and developed KRI Board Reporting.

Michael Williams brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role. Since April 2024, he has enhanced and up lifted the company's risk and governance framework, managed the Financial Crime team, and developed KRI Board Reporting. Michael also conducts risk assessments, and provides strategic risk and compliance advice to the company. Previously, Michael held roles at Australian Payments Plus and Commonwealth Bank, focusing on compliance processes and implementing regulatory changes. Michael’s extensive expertise and proactive approach make him a key asset to Azupay's risk and compliance team.

He has successfully delivered strategic business outcomes in listed companies withing the financial services, retail and airline industries over the past 30 years. Matthew’s reputation is one of success in the execution and delivery of strategic business outcomes, achieved through leading diverse, high performing teams in complex business and transformational change.

Bruce Mansfield

Bruce has been a leading figure in the Australian Payments industry for many years.

Bruce has been a leading figure in the Australian Payments industry for many years. In his role as Managing Director and CEO, he led eftpos Australia for over 7 years and he also served as the RBA appointed representative for significant payment systems on the Australian Payments Council from 2014-2017. Bruce is currently an adviser to The Minderoo Foundation and a Board member of Lifeline Australia. Prior to eftpos, Bruce held a number of leadership positions globally for Visa Inc. where he worked over an 18 year period with executive responsibility for geographies, products, technology and payments innovation.

Kirsty Rankin

Kirsty is a highly experienced senior executive in the payments industry, specialising in data driven digital transformation.

Kirsty is a highly experienced senior executive in the payments industry, specialising in data driven digital transformation. Kirsty started her career at American Express before joining Pinpoint Pty Ltd - a start up in the Financial Services and loyalty marketing space. Pinpoint was acquired by Mastercard in 2014 and Kirsty relocated to the US in a global role as Senior Vice President in the Data & Services division. She was at the leading edge of ideating and creating customer centric solutions for financial institutions, merchants, acquirers, and government entities, leveraging data and technology. Kirsty has served on numerous boards in both Australia and the US. She is a consultant to several global companies on data driven technology and loyalty strategy.

Justin is an investment professional with 19 years of experience incorporating a diverse range of capital markets and operational roles.

Justin is an investment professional with 19 years of experience incorporating a diverse range of capital markets and operational roles. He’s currently a Senior Investment Manager for the private equity portfolio at Ellerston Capital. Prior to Ellerston, Justin was CFO of Cover Genius, a disruptive global insurance technology platform. Previously, Justin held various roles in Investment banking, as head of Telecom, Media and Technology sector coverage for Citigroup in Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Citigroup, Justin worked in London with RBS/ABN Amro bank as an Equity Research Analyst covering media and entertainment companies throughout Europe. Justin commenced his career as an accountant with Ernst & Young.

John is a Board Adviser of Azupay, and has a 36 year career in banking with extensive experience in payments, digital, and large-scale transformation programs.

John has a 36 year career in banking with extensive experience in payments, digital, and large-scale transformation programs.
