Azupay’s partnership with Nelnet International and their Xetta platform will be the first to introduce PayID for students, with The University of Newcastle launching this capability to students today. This collaboration introduces PayID as a seamless payment method, setting a new standard for student convenience and financial security.
Starting from 5 August 2024, students at The University of Newcastle will experience the future of payments through PayID. This integration signifies the first time PayID has been rolled out at a university campus.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Nelnet International and The University of Newcastle,” said Trent Daniel, Enterprise Sales Director at Azupay. “This partnership represents a major leap forward in campus convenience and financial security. By bringing PayID to the University of Newcastle, we are setting a new standard for how students manage their financial transactions with ease and peace of mind.”
PayID’s integration will streamline payments for student fees and a range of campus transactions without any processing fees. It allows students to focus on their academic and extracurricular pursuits rather than administrative details.
The University of Newcastle is proud to be the first higher education institution to adopt PayID, reflecting its commitment to providing a modern and efficient experience for its community. “We are delighted to be at the forefront of this innovative payment solution,” said Susan Tju, Manager Financial Accounting, Treasury and Revenue, at the University of Newcastle. “Our collaboration with Azupay and Xetta aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance the campus experience through technology.”
Robert Radley, Executive General Manager of Nelnet International (Xetta), added “this collaboration is a significant step in leveraging technology to enhance campus operations. PayID will make transactions simpler, faster, and more secure, and we’re proud to support The University of Newcastle in leading this innovation.”
As this new payment method rolls out, students can look forward to a more integrated and responsive campus environment, where transactions are not only quicker but also more secure.
Stay tuned for further updates on how to start using PayID and experience the benefits of this exciting new payment option.
